History

Malvin is a production company operating in the water-based paint sector since 1973 and in the premix sector since 1983,establishing itself as the first and only producer of premix in the south for more than 10 years. Malvin originates from a family of old master-builders from the '30s, nurturing that passion for four generations. The experience gained over time has been transferred to Malvin, amalgamating experience from tradition with the most modern technologies in the construction sector.

In 1973, in order to diversify and broaden their stakes in the construction sector, the Vittorioso created RIVIT, a manufacturer of water-based paints and wall-mounted plastic coatings. Rivit represented an opportunity to enter the market of southern Italy, from Sicily to the Arab countries. Becoming aware of the existence of premix, the Vittorioso's intuition and the foresight saw the potential for the future of the business.

Riding the wave of intuition, in 1982, RIVIT constructed the first plant for the production of premix in southern Italy . Considerable effort was needed to introduce a completely new product, but thanks to conviction, commitment and willpower, the feat was accomplished.

In the wake of the excellent results and in the best interests of the children Assunta, Antonio and Giovanni, Malvin s.r.l. was formed to continue and develop the work of RIVIT. Following the increasing demands of the market and the increasing use of premixes, Malvin urgently needed to increase its production. To that end, it acquired an industrial area in Gricignano di Aversa of about 20,000m2 and constructed a new factory. The new production plant was the result of the most modern technologies matured with experience and consisted of three production lines and a fourth independent. The plant is capable of producing more than 10,000ql in eight hours. A crushing plant for the production of aggregates was also constructed.

Today, Malvin boasts a production unit equipped with the most modern systems for production and quality control, thus guaranteeing the reliability and safety of a high-quality product that is consistent over time and a territory of the Italy's entire southern-centre belt.
